Instruction either requires it\u2014or quietly replaces it.<\/span><\/p>\n Experience, Not Position<\/strong><\/p>\n I\u2019ve spent more than three decades teaching and working alongside educators across middle school, high school, and higher education. My work has been shaped by urban classrooms, teacher preparation, and instructional leadership\u2014not as roles to move through, but as contexts that demanded careful judgment.<\/p>\n What Guides My Practice<\/strong><\/p>\n Thinking can\u2019t be done for someone else. Instruction either requires it\u2014or replaces it. Teaching exists to expand students\u2019 capacity to think independently, not to comply, imitate, or perform.
